It is also outlined in this Policy where this information may be collected from and how it is stored.

After the purpose for which the data collected is no longer necessary, all correspondence which features this sensitive data will be deleted. This information that You choose to share with Us is solely Your choice. A record of the process and payment of this order will still be stored for legal reasons.

 

Custom Orders​

 

We reserve the right to share the designs We create across Our website, social media, on public display of business or equivalent. When We do this, We do not share designs which feature contact details or other sensitive data. We will only share designs featuring surnames after receiving permission to do so in writing. We will not seek permission to share designs that feature first name only. We reserve the right to share these at any time. We keep a record of the designs We create for the purpose above.

 

1.      How will my data be collected?

 

 

Contact form

 

If you fill out Our contact form, the data You submit will be collected for the purpose of fulfilling Your enquiry. If You choose to check the box to subscribe to emails, Your name and email address will be added to Our mailing list. We will contact You regularly with news and offers, and You can unsubscribe at any time.

 

Email Correspondence

 

Your data, such as Your name, email address, and information provided may be collected by submitting an email to Us, either directly, or through Our contact form on Our website. The information on this email is deleted after the purpose for which it has been obtained is no longer necessary, however Your email address may be stored. We will not use Your email address to send You marketing information, without Your authorisation to do so by clicking the box to subscribe to emails. 

 

Email Marketing

 

We may send You email marketing if You have signed up to this service by opting in. We will never do this without receiving Your prior consent. You are free to unsubscribe at any time. We may use a third party to provide Our email marketing, your data may be collected in accordance to their own Privacy Policy.

Your data, such as Your name, email address, Wedding date, and any further information provided may be collected by submitting an email to Us through a directory. The information on this email is deleted after the purpose for which it has been obtained is no longer necessary, however Your email address may be stored. We will not use Your email address to send You marketing information, without Your authorisation to do so. Information in Your email through a directory may be collected in accordance to their own Privacy Policy. 

 

Live Event

 

Your data, such as your name, email address, and the information You provide to me by engaging in conversation at a live event (such as a Fair or Showcase, market, workshop, networking event or live illustration service) will be collected for the necessary process of fulfilling Your enquiry or order.  This information is deleted after the purpose for which it has been obtained is no longer necessary.

For legal reasons, the Invoice produced after purchasing an item is stored by Lauren Marie Studio. A copy of the Invoice (which is generated as a valid receipt of Your purchase) is sent to the seller (Lauren Marie Studio) and the buyer (the customer). The information on this invoice includes Your full name, billing and delivery address, email address, payment type, and username, if applicable. The invoice also may include any correspondence which You have shared, or We have shared in relation to the completion of the product, and recipients address, should this be applicable. All invoices, whether ordered directly through email or through an online shop, are kept on record for 7 years, as a legal requirement for tax and accounting purposes. The invoice kept as a record is the same invoice that is sent to the buyer on receipt or billing of payment.

session heatmaps, scrolls, The operating system and Internet browser, Language and keyboard settings, visitor and user browsing, click-stream activity, the Internet service provider, date and time stamps, information regarding the users device, screen resolution and referring or exit pages.

And Individually identifying information, which includes:

 

Contact details such as an email address, phone number or billing address, a full name, payment method or transaction details from users with paid services, browser or usage session details such as an IP address, device unique identifier and geo-location details, third party account details (for example, Paypal, Google and Facebook), scanned identification documents that the user provides to WIX, correspondence made through the service such as the email contact box, and any other personal information that the visitor, customer or user provides.

From time to time We may update the Lauren Marie Studio website using WIX. The website is accessible by Us, the data controller, google business, google drive, or a relevant third party for website design purposes only. Access to the site is not granted for any reasons other than for website design and maintenance purposes. 

 

Shopping with Lauren Marie Studio through a third-party website

 

Please note, this policy refers to Lauren Marie Studio and is not in reference to the ways that third party websites handle Your data. Please familiarise Yourself with the third-party website’s policies for this information. 

 

 

Imagery taken during a Live Illustration booking 

 

A contractor representing Us is authorised to capture photos using the contractor’s own device for the purpose of this booking. All captured photos or videos will be shared with Lauren Marie Studio via Airdrop (or equivalent) for booking and project documentation purposes. All photos will be deleted from the contractor’s device within 30 days but may be stored securely by Lauren Marie Studio for marketing purposes.  

We may take photos or video content of Live Illustration in action on Your wedding day, We reserve the right to use and share these images for Our marketing and portfolio purposes. We will ask guests if they consent for Us to take a photo of them alongside the illustration, and they will be informed that this will be used for marketing purposes. 

 

 

2. How will my data be stored?

 

Making sure Your data is stored securely is important to Us, and We have put appropriate measures in place to ensure this. There may be times where Your data is stored securely using the iCloud, OneDrive, Cloud services, or independent hard drive.

 

The data obtained from processing and fulfilling a transaction is included in an invoice and receipt. The data collected for the purpose of an invoice or booking will be stored for up to 7 years, due to legal reasons (such as tax and audit purposes). The HMRC recommends storing tax return documents for at least five years.

 

Email queries that are submitted through the contact section of www.laurenmariestudio.co.uk are stored as an email on the WIX inbox, and an email is also sent through to a Lauren Marie Studio email. The information on this email is deleted after the purpose for which it has been obtained is no longer necessary, however Your email address may be stored. We will not use Your email address to send You marketing information, without Your authorisation to do so.

 

All photos or video content taken at a Live Illustration or Calligraphy booking will be deleted from the contractor’s device within 30 days but may be stored securely by Lauren Marie Studio for marketing purposes. 

 

3. Will my data be shared with anyone else?

 

A purchase or email through WIX will also be on the WIX server.

 

Aside from Your use of the services that We use, sell and advertise through (for which You give consent for these companies to store Your data), there may be some circumstances where Your data may be shared with third parties. These circumstances are limited and restricted. The reason for this will only be if it is required to fulfil the purpose for which We have obtained Your data. For example:

 

Delivery purposes:  Your full name, postal address, and email address may be shared for delivery purposes.

 

Design purposes: If You have purchased a personalised design that needs to be scanned or printed, the details featured on this design will be shared with a third party scanning or printing company that fulfils this purpose.

 

Fulfilling a Live Illustration or calligraphy booking: A contractor representing Us is authorised to capture photos or videos using the contractor’s own device for the purpose of this booking. Information relating to Your booking may be shared for the sole purpose of completing Our contractual obligations. We reserve the right to use and share these images for Our marketing and portfolio purposes. We will always ask guests if they consent for Us to take a photo of them alongside the illustration, and they will be informed that this will be used for marketing purposes. 

 

Accounting purposes: Any transactions made must be disclosed by law for tax returns, and therefore this information may be shared with an accountant, book keeper and HMRC.

 

Lawful Purposes:  We may collect, retain or share Your data if We believe it is necessary to comply with laws, such as a government request or legal process, in order to investigate, prevent or address fraudulent or illegal activity, security and technical issues, and to protect the rights, safety and security of Our customers.

 

4. How can I find out what data you store on me?

 

As a data subject You have a right to be forgotten, and a right to erasure. Should You wish to claim access to Your data that We store, or to have Your data deleted from Our systems, You can contact Us with such requests by emailing lauren@laurenmariestudio.co.uk , however We are able to charge an administration fee in certain circumstances, for example multiple requests for the same information.  â€‹

 

5. Children's Data 

 

We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of sixteen (16) from Our Website. If You are under the age of sixteen (16), please do not submit any Personal Data through Our website. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce Our Privacy Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Data through the Website without their permission. If You have reason to believe that a child under the age of 16 has provided Personal Data to Us through the Website, please email Us at lauren@laurenmariestudio.co.uk and We will endeavour to delete that information from Our databases.

 

In the circumstance where You have provided information about a child under the age of 16 to Us for commission and design purpose, this data is deleted once the purpose has been fulfilled and the information is no longer necessary. 

 

6. Sending Data outside the European Economic Area

 

We will only send data outside of the European Economic Area ('EEA') to work with Our agents and advisers who We use to deliver services to You or to comply with legal duty. If We do transfer data outside the EEA, We will make sure that this is protected in the same way as if it were being used inside the EEA. We will use one of the following safeguards to ensure that this is protected:

 

- Transfer the data to a non-EEA country which has privacy laws at least as protective as those within the EEA.

- Put in place a contract with the recipient of the data using EU model clauses which means the recipient must protect the data to the same standards as required within the EEA, or

- Rely on a pre-agreed Privacy mechanism such as the EU/US Privacy Shield agreement.

 

7.  In the event of a data breach

 

We take appropriate measures to ensure that Your data is safe, secure and stored appropriately, and that access to this data is strictly limited by any third parties. In the event of a data breach, We have put appropriate measures in place to deal with this issue. If the security of Your data is ever compromised, We will notify You and an applicable regulator of a security breach of this within 72 hours, via this privacy document. Whilst We do not use Your email for marketing purposes, if You have supplied Your email to Us, if Your data has been subject to a security breach, We may use this to notify You.
