65% of people are visual learners…
Did you know that?
Illustration can be an incredible form of communicating, when it’s used in the right and relevant way for your business.
It’s not just any imagery, it’s intentional, crafted visuals that convey meaning. It’s visual storytelling!
Cast your memory back to the picture books you read as a child, or maybe that you read with a young person now.
Most illustrated storybooks, often spoken of fondly, provide one of two:
Comfort 💛
or
escape 💭
But they also told a story the reader understood the entire way through, whilst being totally immersed and utterly hooked…
And when you think about that, how incredible would that be for your business visuals to do that too?
I can still think of my favourite storybooks as if i read them yesterday. Not just the story, but the illustrations too… they left just as much a lasting impression on me.
On the topic,
What were your favourite storybooks?
Perhaps you can take this to your journal, a notebook, your notion portal! Either way, thinking about what influenced you and WHY can be such a valuable insight to seeing how you can connect with your audience.
